The neighborhood cat who owns me is using my Miata as furniture. I’ve got a whole mess of cat hair on the top to go with the paw prints on the trunk.
Oh well, the cat keeps the house mouse-free, so I can’t really complain. My car does look like a fun toy.

I caught a cat sitting on the hood of my Mustang once, and without thinking clearly, I went and chased it off. As the cat bolted away, the claws came out, and scratched the paint. I was mortified .

My dads cat does exactly this on the bonnet (hood) of my NA every time I park it at his. I suspect it likes a big flat warm place to lie.
